We have four Blue Badge parking spaces available for visitors located on the slip road off Belvedere Road (the road between Royal Festival Hall and Hayward Gallery). Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and use of them is free. Visitors are required to display their Blue Badge as they enter the site. Vehicles that do not display a Blue Badge are refused entry.
If these spaces are all occupied, Blue Badge holders and those with access requirements can also be dropped off on this slip road.
For Southbank Centre visitors who are attending a ticketed event who have a Blue Badge, we have secured free parking in the National Theatre car park. You should take your badge and car park ticket to the Ticket Office at venue for validation before the event. The National Theatre Car Park is a little over 300 metres from the Royal Festival Hall.
The National Theatre car park can be accessed via the theatre foyer from Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 11.15pm, Sunday (on performance days), 12 noon − 6pm, and from Upper Ground, 7am – 1am. Please note there is no step-free access available on Sundays or other days where there is no performance at the National Theatre, as the National Theatre building is closed. Please speak to a security guard to exit the car park. The entrance ramp to the car park is at the southwest corner of the National Theatre, on Upper Ground, by Theatre Avenue (the road between the National Theatre and the British Film Institute).

Cornwall Road Multi-Storey Car Park on Coin Street have kindly agreed to offer free parking to Southbank Centre visitors who have a Blue Badge. The car park is a 5 minute walk from the Royal Festival Hall. You should take your badge and car park ticket to the parking attendant office at the entrance to the car park to validate it before you leave. The entrance ramp to the car park is on Cornwall Road, SE1 9PP and is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. There is a lift to street level that exits onto Cornwall Road / Upper Ground opposite ITV Studios.
